what? i totally love Haikyuu, but I'm loving this as well... no need to compare the two, they're two different sports..

Ashito, ohtomo and that guy worked so hard and didn't give up at the end while those guys at the back, the guy with that funny eye and goal keeper lost their spirit to play but ashito tried to cheer him up like smacking his face and his nose spkt some blood and everyone clapped that is so nice

Goal keeper was from Esperion I believe they mentioned this before.

Haikyuu is on a different level when it comes to animation choreography, camera work , aaaaand last but not least music, and it isn't even close imo, doesn't mean I'm not gonna watch and enjoy this though

as someone whos watched them all i would rate ace of diamond #1, haikyuu #2, this one... is somewhere between 1-2 rn :) take my word for it, this one is gonna be a good one.

Yeah Ace of Diamond Was like all i watch for a month Straight after i found it i love when you find a great show that's already got a ton of Episodes that was the case for Ace of Diamond & Recently Golden Kamuy although not necessarily a ton of episodes but 3 short seasons worth But my Favorite Sports Anime Is Definitely Hajime No Ippo & Yowamushi Pedal Very close 2nd

Lmao i love how people pass verdicts on shows with less then 3 episodes, how many shows that we now call classics started off "mid" i wonder hmm.

They all lost hope when they heard the opponents was playing out of position and it's a handicap to them and they're still good at one touch They thought they would lose and just give up but ashito, ohtomo and that guy didn't lose hope and continue to play their best because ashito thought the coach said are you giving up and ashito gets fake scenario in his mind then he didn't give up he nosebleed everyone clapped

Really didn't get that. Not much of a handicap. A team that has trained together for months has a huge advantage over a bunch who just met. Team moral is important, but team cooperation needs time and is far more important.

The deeper we get into the series, you can kinda understand why playing out of position is really difficult. The manga goes heavy on the theory, and characters are frequently shown to be pulling their hair out trying to learn a specific skill for a specific position (Won't give examples though because it may become a spoiler)

Having just a week won't turn an ace striker to a competent or even average LB. (Ironically the same reason I don't really like Blue Lock) Though I do agree about the whole teamwork thing (probably why in the second half the selection team got absolutely rolled)

The JFA's Japanese name is Nippon Sakkā Kyōkai
the term sakkā (サッカー), means soccer btw not football. And rugby isn't even an american sport dude XD and you've probably never even played competitively or in ODP/Uni D1. But oh well enjoy the show Karen
